Åke used to be a Swedish vicar, a husband and a father-of-three. He used to live a regular and at the same time fake life. However, 5 years ago he became Ann-Christine. Despite the risk of losing his job and family, despite fear and doubts, he took the decision to have a walk around Malmö with high-heeled shoes on.

It took 3 years to produce this film and finally people can experience the story of coming-out and transition to Ann-Christine. The film starts with a church-office scene and ends with Ann-Christine’s comments. “I was frightened by my feelings, doubts and myself before the coming-out. After it I faced doubts of other people”, said Ann-Christine, telling her story of a brave and strong woman.

The film is in the original language with Belarusian subtitles.
