“Dotyk” Ceremonial Opening

The 3rd International queer-festival “Dotyk” ceremony of opening took place on 24 February. It is the story about a pure celebration. It is the story about a sparkling weekend.Everyone felt upbeat right before the ceremony in the Gallery-Canteen XYZ on Friday evening. In the beginning  the organizers made speeches and demonstrated the video message by festival guests to the public. Then it was followed by an opening film screening (“Who’s gonna love me now?” by Barak Heymann and Tomer Heymann, Israel). Before the film visitors had the opportunity to look the new location around and also admire the photography exhibition called “We are (not) alone”.

Then Dotyk Opening Party started.  Apart the fabulous line-up the organizers had prepared a surprise for the visitors. At the entrance people could put on glitter-and-sparkles make-up to be fully immersed into a fantastic atmosphere.  The party lasted till the early frosty hours.

The weekend occurred to be eventful. Various lectures, film representations, meetings and Dotyk Lounge were held in the Gallery-Canteen XYZ. Some events as “Minsk queer-walk” by DOTYK ft. MAKEOUT, Vogue dance class with “Zdolnaya” women project, Wen-Do сlass in women’s self-defence and assertiveness by public association “Radislava” took place at other city locations.
